Return & Cancellation

This Cancellation and Refund Policy governs the cancellation of services and refunds provided by ARD for architectural and interior design services. By engaging our services, the client agrees to this Policy.

1. Appointment & Booking Confirmation

1.1 Any booking, consultation, or project commencement is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the agreed advance payment and/or written confirmation.

1.2 Once work has commenced, the project is deemed active and subject to the terms below.

2. Cancellation by the Client

2.1 The Client may cancel the services by providing written notice via email or official communication.

2.2 If cancellation occurs before commencement of design work, a refund may be issued after deducting administrative and consultation charges of [X% or amount].

2.3 If cancellation occurs after commencement of design work, no refund shall be applicable, as design services involve time, expertise, and intellectual effort.

2.4 If cancellation occurs after concept approval or design presentations, all fees paid shall be non-refundable.

2.5 Any work completed up to the date of cancellation shall be deemed chargeable and payable.

3. Cancellation by the Firm

3.1 We reserve the right to cancel or terminate services if:

  • • The Client fails to make payments as agreed
  • • The Client repeatedly delays approvals or decisions
  • • The Client breaches the agreed terms or scope
  • • Circumstances arise that make continuation impractical or unethical

3.2 In such cases, fees for work completed up to the termination date shall be non-refundable.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 Refunds, if applicable, will be processed only to the original mode of payment.

4.2 Approved refunds will be processed within [7–14] business days from the date of confirmation.

4.3 Taxes, statutory fees, government charges, and third-party consultant payments are non-refundable.

4.4 No refunds shall be provided for:

  • • Design concepts, drawings, 3D views, or presentations already shared
  • • Revisions already undertaken
  • • Site visits or coordination meetings conducted

5. Advance & Retainer Fees

5.1 Advance payments and retainers are non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

5.2 Advance fees secure time, resources, and project scheduling and are adjusted against the final fee.

6. Project Delays & On-Hold Requests

6.1 If a project is put on hold at the Client’s request for more than [X] days, we reserve the right to:

  • • Reassess timelines and fees upon resumption, or
  • • Close the project with fees billed for work completed

6.2 No refunds shall be applicable for delays caused by the Client.

7. Force Majeure

No refunds shall be applicable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or acts of God.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be governed by the laws of [Country/State], with jurisdiction in the courts of [City].

9. Acceptance of Policy

By engaging our services, making payment, or signing a proposal, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation and Refund Policy.
